Aspiring Neuroscience Researcher | Multilingual Educator | Varsity Athlete

About

I'm a student at Bronx High School of Science with a growing passion for neuroscience, developed through years of volunteering in a clinical setting and, more recently, through independent research. I've spent the past three years volunteering at a neurology office, completing over 300 hours supporting patient care and clinical operations, and I'm currently conducting independent research on Kawasaki disease alongside the daughter of Dr. Tomisaku Kawasaki, the physician who first identified the condition in 1961.

Beyond the lab and the clinic, I've competed in soccer since I was seven years old and now play on both my school's Varsity Soccer and Varsity Lacrosse teams. I've also spent summers in Japan teaching English and coaching youth soccer, experiences that taught me how to communicate across languages and cultures. Whether on the field, in a classroom, or in a research setting, I try to bring the same commitment to learning and teamwork.
